Born in Hamadan, Iran, in 1954, Jim was always captivated by art, though his environment did not always foster full artistic exploration. In 1983, he relocated to the USA, initially immersing himself in the reselling of art and antiques. Jim's expertise soon evolved into the restoration of artworks and antique frames. By 1993, he ventured into creating custom frames and crafting his own artwork. It was the early 2000s when his passion for art truly took center stage, becoming his exclusive focus for the next two decades. While inspired by many great works of art, Jim's primary muse is the natural world. He draws profound inspiration from the breathtaking landscapes of Georgia and the eastern United States.
